I'm an eater not a hater

It's true! I swear it is. I don't hate people who disagree with me, they expand my mind and make me look deep inside myself. I rethink what I believe and that's a good thing, for all of us, to practice now and then.

I don't want my lifestyle adopted by everyone, life would be boring! I don't want Jamie Oliver to make a million little granolas running around disconnecting cable, growing their own meat and being master gardeners. But I do think there's room in this world for a million little healthy souls. As long as they do their own thing, which we all should be doing each and every day.

Live your life but really truly LIVE it don't just be there for it. Feel. Smell. Taste. Rejoice. Life is like a coin, you only get to spend it once and then it's gone. What a shame it would be to only discover that at the end of your life and have regret.

Perhaps my letter to Jamie Oliver should have been aimed squarely at the people of this country who sit and don't try to change things that are wrong. Who may or may not rail against the system verbally but then fail to make even one move toward change. Whether confused or indifferent about the dangers of over processed foods they continue to support an industry who in the long run is about money and not the health of consumers. Whose main objective is to sell you products and will stop at nothing to get you to think you need their 'thing'.

But you thinkers, who had the guts to say "HEY, wait a dang minute you nincompoop, that's not cool", I thank! You made my inner monologue very interesting. I will still not watch the show because now it is the "thing" and I feel like I can't plus without cable I really can't anyway. My hope is that the American people can stand up as one and roar together. We should roar for healthy foods, safe foods, organic chemical free food, fair labor for fair work, plain wording on labels. We should roar for our kids, for non gm foods, truth in advertising, whole food. We should roar for you and me and peace. We should roar. As one, as all, because I want my coin and your coin to be well spent in the end.

Peace and Love-

I'm not gonna comment on the J.O. thing because I think everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I'll leave it at that.

What a sweet picture!

Happy Easter!

I love your viewpoint and sometimes we can't totally explain what we are thinking via blog.

I agree we need to roar as one! It's sad and scary what is happening esp with GM foods!!
