or watch baby turkeys fresh from a dust bath stroll by. Yes they are white turkeys!
This is by no means a true reuben or any other kind of sandwich just a little sandwich suggested by my friend Deborah, who won't read my blog anymore because I offended her(I'm sorry!), she gave me the idea for mustard on the outside of a sandwich and I ran with it.
Skillet Reuben-makes 1
1 tsp butter
2 slices good rye or wheat bread
1/2 cup sauerkraut, drained
2 ounces or more good sliced turkey
8 slices of pepperoni-optional
1 slice of swiss or other cheese-optional
brown mustard
place a skillet over medium high heat add butter
assemble sandwich by layering all ingredients except mustard between the bread
spread outside with mustard
place in melted butter in the skillet cook until starting to brown up
gently flip and brown the other side
serve and inhale immediately
I had a contest for some Picnik upgrades a few weeks back and the winners are Coleen, Monica, Megan and Angie! Yeah!! Can I just email your upgrade codes? Let me know!
The Olivia's Croutons winner is someone who I believe was cursing me yesterday for the twix bars recipe, like I went to her house and forced her to make them, HA! Michelle of Honest and Truly, you are my winner! I have your mailing address around here somewhere, oh heck maybe you should just send it to me anyway.
There you go dinner and winners. Must sleep now running on reserve battery power.
Peace and Love-

Wheee! Yay, so happy. Although I still hate you for the Twix bars. EVERYone loves them. I've already been asked to make another batch, and they're less than 48 hours old. Pure evil.
I'll shoot you a note with my address :)
