"I'm leaving on a jet plane,

wish there wasn't snow on the ground" I hate to take off in snow. Why? I guess because I KNOW what it's like hurtling down the highway at 70 miles an hour and hitting a slick spot. Whoopsie doodle! Now imagine that in a jet. No, I never had that happen but it's my fear. Guess I'm not afraid of it enough to stay home though am I? Oh hell NO! I'm going to FoodBuzz in San Francisco!

I'll be hanging with my good friend Heather who introduced me to Luna last time I was in town. They are fun, silly, smart, they like to eat (will stab you for Diana's Meat Pie, don't say I didn't warn you!) and drink and laugh. They are like a dose of the best medicine available, like sunshine.

Then there are my non-FoodBuzz friends, Amanda (don't stare at her hump) and Valerie, who are coming to the tasting pavilion at the Metreon with us. They too like to eat(I have seen Valerie chew the meat off a rabbit's LEG!!), drink, laugh and be silly. Both incredibly smart and funny. Another dose of sunshine, we will be GLOWING.

Sunday we'll be doing a lazy day pub crawl thingy thing, ok truth be told we'll at least be in one bar drinking good beer most of the afternoon. We may crawl elsewhere, who knows! Carol will join us. Carol is much like the other ladies in this pulled together group, smart witty beautiful fun. She can eat and drink too, but oh my god don't engage her in a debate, she will slap you down!

I can't wait to meet and hug Mara and Monica two blogging buddies! And see Two Boos Who Eat Andy and Amanda, the cutest couple EVER. Who am I forgeting!?! What am I forgetting?

Street Vendors of San Francisco on Friday night! Dinner at the Ferry Building Saturday night! Tasting Pavilion on Saturday!

Oh and I get to stay at the best little hotel in San Francisco, The Mosser! I love this place it's central to everything, the rates are great and the rooms are beautiful.  I guess it's true, I left my heart down in San Francisco, maybe not all of it but a piece or two. Quite an admission from a born and bred Alaska girl.

Peace and Love--

me! you're forgetting about me!

I'm not going to Foodbuzz. Not a foodbuzz guy, but I'm hoping to sneak into some of the afterparties....

Otherwise, hope to see you around SF!

Oh wow, San Francisco again! I love San Francisco, but my next trip isn't till February :( Have a lovely, lovely time - and try not to worry about the snow. I'm a nervous flyer too (goodness knows why, I do it so much!) but my friend is a pilot for British Airways and he has told me in the past that it really is unlikely you'd hit ice on a runway. (Yes, I worry about it too!!). But I hope it stops snowing anyway so you feel better :)

Snow?! It was just 86 degrees her the other day? It doesn't get really cold until February and even then it's in the 30's :-)

I can't wait to see you and hug you too! I'm a little shy in person so keep that in mind if I don't come running up to you with my arms open wide. Although inmy heart and mind that's what I'm thinking :-)

See you Friday! woot!
